Yeah.  Never happened to me also but accidents do happen.  Anyway I'm sure the keyboard prot can handle it.  Madali palitan yung protector kesa yung epc.  Order ako pag-katapos ng test mo.  Thanks.

Guys! The jury's back!

Sorry for the delay....got the items in the afternoon....and took some time to conduct the survey and tabulate the results. OT kami kagabi!

I've posted the pictures of the items and test results at the bottom! Results are in Excel file that I converted into a pic so you can all see in full detail Smiley

This UAT was done seriously, with the following details:

1. Panel of ten (10), myself included. 5 from Marketing and 5 from IT.
2. I used our "in-house" UAT Test Module for consumer products: where there are

(1) Key Criteria, with weighted point contributions, and
(2) Rating Points where testers rate each product by feature (against the Key Criteria), and
(3) MP (meanpoints) that represent the actual point performance by feature rated; where MP = (Rating Point)/100  x  Key Criteria Contribution Point. Hope its clear pa at this point Smiley

3. At the end of it....the two products will have a Total MP (meanpoint), where 5 ist the highest and 1 is the lowest.

The bottomline is, both products faired well! Very close race! But one scored better.

Now....it doesn't mean that the slightly lower one should back out of the selling race. For a UAT result this close, my professional recommendation is to slug it out in the market place.

Also, I'd welcome critics to thresh out our UAT as well. It's not a perfect one, but we built it with the resources my company has (hehehehe), with a combo of marketing and IT heads Smiley

But in any review....the reviewer has the responsibility to come out with the most fair and objective finding that was tasked of him. I found out that it's hard to make a review, most especially when you do it for a community that you are part of and that is important to you....naks....drama pa....hehehehe. But seriously...this was really hard. Two good products. But nonetheless, we must show what the numbers say.....

....and the test results showed that the close winner...........operative word "CLOSE".........the CLOSE WINNER.........................................with a MeanPoint Score of 4.51 (versus 4.42 of the other)... is SILIE.

Here are the photos of the products:

great review!

since it's so close, maganda siguro makakita ng sample ng pareho para magka-first hand test ang mga users. This is because it seems it's a matter of personal typing preference.  Smiley

Pag nakabili na ako, doon ako mag-checheese curls, ice cream and coffee spill test. haha! pati siguro pag-laba. hahaha

Nice review rljaplit.  It seems that the two skins have their own pros and cons and in the end it would be the users preference that matters.  I hope this doesn't stop infinity from supplying us with his brand of keyboard protector.  Personally, I would get one from each.

Actually Infinity, a margin this close....medyo negligible na yan....don't look who's higher or lower....look at the Rating Point Average Smiley 4.42 rating is HIGH!

Parehong panalo yung skins! Smiley

Just goes to show na maganda mga quality nr products that are going around in eeePH Smiley

yep will still order.iba talaga ung material ng prod ko kasi Cheesy it is made of TPU or thermoplastic urethane so mas manipis hehe. anyway natalo ako dun sa fit nya kasi madulas ata ung material at sobrang light.but if you can see sa pics, mas mahaba ung item ko sa taas at sa sides kasi when you buy the product, may kasama na siyang adhesives para i hold na rin ung protector in place..so if hindi hassle sa inyo magkabit ng tiny adhesives which are precut na and sakto na dun sa edges ng eee, then i think you will not have a prob with my item Cheesy based to dun sa review ha hehe.

Thanks for the kind words guys....but hirap ng review na ito! But bottomline, maganda pareho. You'll just have to look at the various features and product points as to which are more important to you as an eee consumer.

Would be nice to see both products in the next M&G, para mas marami maka experience.

To the two sellers here -- Silie and Infinity....great job on product sourcing and quality. Game na! Start posting for selling! Smiley

Habagat -- as to the cheese curls test....hehehe....I included that under "Keyboard Hugging Section", kulang lang sa elaboration -- sorry. But under "Hugs the keyboard", this basically covers how tight the skin is with the keys. In this case, both skins cover pretty well and keep dirt out of the keys. But silicone scores higher here since in essence, that is a unique quality of silicone....its sticky.Keeps in place on the keyboard very snuggly. And consequently, keeps dirt out too Smiley

To all the consumers:

The survey is just a guide. Look at all the key criteria points closely. And see which ones are more relevant to you. Some things that are relevant to you may not be so to others and vise-versa. Some people may prefer one product over the other, depending on the relevance of said criteria to each individual.

Good luck Smiley
